All I have to do is write...

Or so I'm told. So here I am at 3:50am listening to Pandora and giving this a try. I've read blogs, thought about blogging...but never wrote one. Never had the time, mother of 2 great sons (19 & 13), married to my best friend, worked full-time there just wasn't time. Now I do not work and I'm a stay at home wife & mom. My time has opened up, so why not give it a try? What could it hurt? Right!?

 

On Oct. 30 searching on YouTube I came across this video about a website called Influenster.com. The video looked very interesting and kinda fun. Went to the site and seen it was invitation only, OK now I have to request because I really want to check it out. Thinking it would be a few days, I was shocked as I opened my email and there sat an invite from Influenster, straight to the site I went.

 

 

Influenster is a social network where you pick out badges for products that best suit you. There's one for Travel, Gamers, Beauty, Sweets, Pop Culture, Cats, Dogs, Eco,  plus many many more. After you pick your badges you unlock them by taking a survey about you and the topic. Then you can review, answer/ask questions, share with other social networks and blog about the item. (There's that blog word.) There are products galore to check out, a child in a candy store, that is how I felt. Oh and this service is FREE. Believe me I looked high and low and found nothing bad about this company.

 

There is scoring on your badges, the higher the score better chances of getting a VOXBOX...yes voxvbox full of goodies. If your score is high enough you will qualify to take a survey and Influenster will look over it to see if you are a good match to the products to be reviewed. And if so then you will receive a voxbox  with full size, yep FULL SIZE, coupons, and products (hair products, make-up, soaps, lotions, candles, nutritional items, the list goes on and on) for you to try. Then you review, rate, add pictures, YouTube, blog, etc. on the products you receive.

 

This totally free, you don't even pay shipping. So Influenster has given me something to do, helped me come up with a Blog name, and add a new addiction.
